Welcome, this is a community base website updated by the Brixton Community Forum that aims to keep both our community informed about the going-ons in Brixton as well as informing the larger Johannesburg, and beyond, who we are, what we stand for and what makes Brixton so special. Brixton is a diverse community located on the watershed ridge in Johannesburg and boasts an interesting history and an even more interesting and eclectic group of residence. It is one of Johannesburg's oldest suburbs, has an array of heritage protected buildings and has a unique urban fabric that is not easily found in Johannesburg anymore. If you would like to know more about what goes on in Brixton, would like to be more involved or would like more information about our area, please email us.
